Harold Lewis was a leader in social work education in the United States. He received a master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work and his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lewis was a faculty member and director of social work schools at Nebraska, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania.
