Aldred Arthur Heckman (1905-1994) was a family service, public welfare, and foundation administrator. After brief employment at the Cleveland Associated Charities, he became executive director of the St. Paul United Charities (later to become Family Service of St. Paul) from 1931 until 1952. He then became executive director of the Hill Family Foundation, later known as the Northwest Area Foundation, and helped to establish the Jerome and Groot Foundations.
