Roger Duvoisin Papers 1932-1979

Collection focus on Duvoisin's work as an author and illustrator of children's books, with emphasis on the latter. The collection contains production materials for 86 titles published between 1932 and 1979. It contains manuscript material, including typescripts and proofs, illustrations done in a variety of media, many with separations, studies and sketches done in a variety of media, dummies, layouts, proofs, notes, separations, paste-ups, photostats, and color samples. There is also a small amount of correspondence, some miscellaneous art work done for the New Yorker magazine, and a miscellaneous oversize illustration done by children and went to Roger Duvoisin.
