Ted Lewin was born May 6, 1935 in Buffalo, NY; Education; Pratt Institute of Art, B.F.A., 1956. A professional wrestler fron 1952-65, his career as artist and freelance illustrator began in 1956. With over one hundred picture book illustration credits as well as a number of self-illustrated books, author-illustrator is one of our most gifted artists acording to Booklist's Hazel Rochman.
