Thomas Catling (Sept. 23, 1838- Dec. 25, 1920) was a British journalist and editor of Lloyd's Weekly Newspaper. He was born in Cambridge and started to work for newspapers (Cambridge Chronicle) at the age of 12 to help support his family. He moved to London at age 16 and soon after began working at Lloyd's.
