Part 2, Japanese POW's are rounded up, searched, and put to work constructing prison camps in Hong Kong. Part 3, the Japanese flag comes down and the U.S. flag goes up as U.S. troops march into Pyongchong, Korea, amid the cheers of the people. Part 4 shows Mayor LaGuardia and Navy Sec. Forrestal at a photographers' exhibit in Radio City, N.Y. Part 5, former U.S. Amb. to Argentina, Spruille Braden, deplanes in Washington, D.C., and talks on conditions in Argentina. James Vincent Forrestal (February 15, 1892 – May 22, 1949) was the last Cabinet-level United States Secretary of the Navy and the first United States Secretary of Defense.
