Part 3, Mayor LaGuardia opens a campaign for an "I Am An American Day" in New York City. Part 4 shows Pres. Roosevelt making a radio broadcast. An aviator, winner of the Distinguished Service Cross, is interviewed on his victories over Japanese fighters. Part 5, the destroyers Fletcher, Radford, Pick and Nerma are launched at the Kearny (New Jersey) shipyards. Part 6 the submarine Peto is launched at Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Part 7, the Hollywood Victory Caravan is received by Mrs. Roosevelt at the White House and gives a performance in Boston. Personage Eccles, Henderson, and Knox. Part 8, tankers burn after being torpedoed. Shows seamen in hiring halls and coming ashore. Part 9, horse racing: the Kentucky Derby.
