Part 3, shows the Brit. cruiser Birmingham, a freighter with Ger. equipment, and the U.S. freighter Robin Gray in Rio de Janeiro harbor. Brit. Amb. Noel Charles visits the Birmingham. Part 4, cornhuskers compete in Tonica, Ill. Part 5, Japanese nationals embark for Japan on the liner Tatyta Maru in San Francisco. Part 6 shows the partially completed great stone faces at Mt. Rushmore, S.D.; the deceased sculptor, Gutzon Borglum; and his son. Part 7, Vanderbilt's Peace Haven Lodge is auctioned in Oakdale, New York Part 8, Mayor La Guardia speaks at New York City City Hall.
