William Franklin "Frank" Knox (January 1, 1874 – April 28, 1944) was an American politician, newspaper editor and publisher. He was also the Republican vice presidential candidate in 1936, and Secretary of the Navy under Franklin D. Roosevelt during most of World War II. Bob Hope (b. May 29, 1903, London, England–d. July 27, 2003, Los Angeles, CA) was a star of radio, film, television and stage during the 1940-1970's. He acted, song and danced through much of WW II entertaining troops. He continued entertaining troops though Korea, Vietnam and the Middle East.
