On the role of the Air Force in gaining air supremacy in Europe and destroying German war industries. Shows the preparation, execution, and critique of a bombing mission by the 8th Air Force. Reel 1, the mission is planned, planes are prepared, and crews are briefed. Includes a scene of Gens. Marshall, Andrews, and Arnold in conference. German and British planes battle. Reel 2, planes take off, are attacked by German fighters, drop their bombs, and return to their bases in England. Crews report their activities to interrogators. Gen. Arnold speaks on the value of high-altitude, precision, day-light bombing.
