Vice Admiral John McNay Taylor was a decorated U.S. Navy officer who served between the 1920s and 1960s. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland and was commissioned as a U.S. Navy officer in 1926 and proceeded to rise through the ranks.
