Charles Bainbridge Westover (b. 1915, Fort Gibbon, Tanana, Alaska-d. July 28, 1978), U.S. Air Force officer, graduated from West Point in 1937 and earned his pilot wings the following year. During World War II he served as executive officer of a special U.S. air mission in the U.S.S.R., and as chief of staff, 2nd Bomb Division, then commander, 448th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force, in England, flying 42 combat missions.
