Gerald "Jerry" Bruno (b. 1926), "political advance man", was on the staff of Senator William Proxmire from 1957 to 1959, and again in 1970. He worked on the John F. Kennedy presidential campaign from 1959 to 1960, and was the Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 1962 to 1965.
