This series contains materials related to meetings, conferences, congresses, and conventions. These materials concern White House meetings, and include requests for meetings with President Lyndon B. Johnson or his aides, lists of people attending White House meetings, lists of appointees and topics discussed at international conferences, and notes on meetings and conferences. The series also contains memorandums, correspondence and reports on meetings and conferences between the representatives of the United States and foreign leaders. These include Vice President Hubert Humphrey's visit with President Ferdinand Marcos of the Philippines; General Maxwell Taylor's visit to India and Pakistan; and Secretary of the Interior Stewart Udall's mission to Germany. Other meetings with foreign officials include meetings that took place in Vietnam, Mexico, India, Japan, Thailand, Soviet Union, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and Africa.
