It also describes the American Revolution, Civil War, World War I and World War II, focusing on the leaders and their importance. It describes the creation of the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) and the responsibilities of the ABMC. The film also documents the rise of the U.S. as a world leader and the responsibilities that are part of that role. There are scenes from ABMC cemeteries around the world.
