On the success of Allied tactics for attacking Japan. Reel 1, U.S. planes bomb and strafe Japanese shipping. Shows an amphibious landing on a Pacific island. Equipment moves on the Alcan Highway. Soldiers and pilots in the Aleutian Islands relax and fly bombers. Shows work on the Stilwell Road and trucks using the road. Includes scenes of Japanese occupation of China. Personages: Adm. Louis Mountbatten, Gen. Stilwell. Reel 2 shows agricultural, industrial, and constructural work of Chinese laborers under Japanese control. Scenes of Japan show a canning factory, a war plant, a shipyard, children working in fields, fishermen at work, a government lottery, and soldiers parading. Personages: Emperor Hirohito, Gen. Tojo.
