Part 1 shows a battle-scarred Liberator bomber and activities at 15th Army Air Force salvage yard in Italy where planes are dismantled and spare parts stored. Part 2, Chinese and U.S. troops in Burma receive supplies. Supplies are packed on a railroad at Calcutta, India; shifted to narrow-gauge cars in Burma; loaded on trucks at Ledo; and hauled over the Ledo Road. C-47's are loaded at Ledo and the supplies dropped to troops in the field. Gen. Stilwell inspects troops. Chinese and U.S. troops move through muddy jungles and skirmish with Japanese units. Col. Seagrave operates on wounded at a field hospital. Wounded are flown to the rear.

Joseph Warren Stilwell (March 19, 1883 – October 12, 1946) was a United States Army general who served in the China Burma India Theater during World War II.
