Charles Jacobs Symmonds (b. Oct. 6, 1866, Holland, Michigan-d. July 16, 1941), Brigadier General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1890. He served in the Spanish-American War and was commander, Intermediate Depot, the principal storage depot of the American Expeditionary Force in France, during World War I. He retired in October 1930. Crosby, Herbert Ball, 1871-1936

Herbert Ball Crosby (b. Dec. 24, 1871, Fairmount, Kansas-d. Jan. 11, 1936), Major General in the U. S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1893 and served with the 8th and 14th Cavalry Regiments early in his career. During World War I, he served with the 8th and 1st Cavalry Regiments and became Commanding Officer, 351st Infantry Regiment. Following the War, General Crosby was assigned as Assistant Commandant at the Army War College before becoming Chief of Cavalry until he retired in March 1930. ...
