Shirley Anita St. Hill Chisholm (1924-2005) activist, educator, politician and author was born in Brooklyn, New York, the oldest of four girls. Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzezinski was born on March 28, 1928 in Warsaw, Poland. His father was Polish consul-general in Montreal during World War II.
