LS, two soldiers slide down rope from CH-34 to field. M-113 APC crossing Lake Dachau with Maj. Gen. William A. Cunningham, CG, 24th Inf. Div., and other officers, VS, two M-60 tanks on mobile assault bridge as it moves across lake. Ramp comes down as bridge hits the shore. Sec. McNamara arrives in copter with Gen. Maxwell D. Taylor, Chief of Staff, US Army. The men are greeted by officers and they all walk to briefing tent. M-113s come out of water onto beach. Assault bridge with M-60 tanks crossing lake. M-113s in the water and going ashore. Aboard ABN copter as two troopers slide down rope to ground. Copters landing. Sec. McNamera being greeted by Maj. Gen. Cunningham, and Gen. Lyman L. Lemnitzer put on life jackets before boarding M-113 APC. M-113s moving out to Lake Dachau. Mobile assault bridge comes into beach, Secretary and large party come ashore. McNamara and party walking to briefing tent. The Secretary and Gen. Paul L. Freeman board UH-1B copter. Copter takes off.
