1957

Gen. L. L. Lemnitzer, Far East and UN Commander, seated at the desk, speaks of the plight of the homeless, starving waifs and the rehabilitation problem facing the United States. The hospital is supported by contributions of Army servicemen, notably the Pusan Masonic Club; Military doctors have contributed their time and skill for the unfortunate children; money has been contributed by service organizations and people in the US. The General ends with an appeal saying that much equipment is badly needed at the hospital. Note: This is an edited script with a few titles. Photography is mostly satisfactory. Sound quality good. It is obvious that the General is reading his speech from a placard held up off-screen.
