Arrival of US show which will tour Japan and Korea 29th March to 4th Apr. The players are Jane Russell, Johnny Grant, Roscoe Ates. Spectators both military and civilian await arrivial of plane. Orphans present Jane Russell with flowers. Also on hand is a group of Japanese girls from Toho studios. Photographers take pictures. Jane Russell being interviewed by reporter; Johnny Grant and others are standing nearby. Grant and Russell leave in vehicle. -- Gen. Maxwell D. Taylor, Army Chief of Staff arrives at 7th Div, Airfield in helicopter accompanied by Gen. I D White CG 8th US Army. Gen Taylor and Maj. Gen. Carl H. Jark CG 7th Div. on reviewing stand with other officers. After the review the Gen. leaves the Div. area in helicopter. Scs, Division Forward Area where elements of the 24th Inf. Div. parade for the Army Chief of Staff. Gen. Taylor meets the Div. staff officers on the receiving line. Gen. Taylor inspects facilities at Community Center #1. Taylor at 6th Tank Bn area; tanks fire a salute for the Gen. Gen. Taylor, Maj. Gen. Russell Vitrup CG of 24th and other officers get into jeep.

Maxwell Davenport Taylor (August 26, 1901 – April 19, 1987) was a senior United States Army officer and diplomat of the mid-20th century.[1] He served with distinction in World War II, most notably as commander of the 101st Airborne Division, nicknamed "The Screaming Eagles." Carl Henry Jark (b. June 13, 1905, Leigh, Neb.-d. Mar. 1984), U.S. Army officer, graduated from West Point in 1929 and from flying school in 1934.
