Secretary of the Army, Wilber M. Brucker presents medals to three Enlisted Men who aided their fellow passengers aboard a civilian aircraft which crashed near Seattle, Washington. Gen. Maxwell Taylor, other (unidentified) generals, and Mr. Brucker congratulate the three men. Mr. Brucker later poses with the three soldiers. Note: Enlisted Men are not identified. -- VS, of the monument. Only one shot can be used. Remainder are NG. -- Notables in grandstand. A CU of the reproduction of the Armed Forces Stamp. Secretary of Defense, Charles E. Wilson with an unidentified woman. Bound books of the first issue are given to representative members of the Armed Forces. Mr. Burgess, Strom Thurmond, Estes Kefauver and other dignitaries on the stand during ceremonies. Mr. Wilson, Mr. Burgess and representatives of the Armed Forces posing with their books. -- M/Sgt. Also included is the old Army Sgt. whose personal story of his days at the point is the basis for the picture's theme.
