Camera records Taylor finishing a statement. Wilson says that roles and missions business is not static--never was and that he is not prepared to indicate any course of action until he has all the facts. He also says that he is trying to find out what, when and why; that he does not expect all men around him to be "yes" men. He is a little prejudiced, he says, in favor of the man who does his work well whether he is a janitor, president of a bank, a soldier or general. The Secretary is confident that he is getting the right advice from his people. Wilson feels that the controversy was developed in the Press and he knows that the price of progress is trouble, etc. A voice from a newsman:"Thank you, sir". The newsmen rise and leave.
