MS, Secretary of Defense Wilson at microphone speaking in reply to Syngman Rhee. General text of speech: Secretary Wilson lauds 8th Army as one of the greatest military ogranizations ever assembled under one command. He points out it has proved to be a symbol of defense against aggression and communism. MS General Maxwell Taylor rises and introduces President Syngman Rhee to assembled gathering. Rhee then proceeds to address Wilson and other assembled dignitaries before getting into text of his speech of appreciation to the 8th Army.
