Robert William Porter, Jr. (b. Apr. 29, 1908, Alma, Neb.-d. Apr. 22, 2000, Charlottesville, Va.), U.S. Army general, graduated from West Point in 1930. During World War II, he served with the 1st Infantry Division in North Africa and Sicily, and II Corps in Italy.
