Review and Honor Guards for Gen Sir Charles F Keightley, CINC, British Far East Land Forces, Adm Radford (who after ceremonies, meets with UN Liason officers), Gen J Lawton Collins, COFS, Maj Gen Edwin A Pollock, USMC; Capt Pearce, USN, Gen Mark Clark later pins a decoration on Pearce for public relations work between the UN and Japanese; Maj Gen Joseph P McCleland, CG 1st US Cav Div. Clark also awards medal to McCleland.
