Reel 1, Part 1 shows good and bad features of a sandbag pillbox near Anzio, Italy. Part 2, the 6th Corps advances under fire in Italy and takes cover in a field. Part 3, troops are visited by Gen. MacArthur, pack gear, ride to ships, clean weapons, invade Los Negros in the Admiralty Islands after a naval bombardment, and fight in jungles. Gen. W.C. Chase confers with his officers. Seabees build an airstrip (Reel 2). Part 4, an officer of the 79th Fighter Group describes activities of the 79th during the Anzio invasion. Shows infantry preparations and the unopposed landing.
