Jack Joseph Valenti (b. 1921) was an advertising and public relations executive who served as Special Assistant to President Lyndon B. Johnson from 1963 to 1966. After leaving the White House, he was a motion picture executive, adjunct professor of government and public administration at American University, and an author of several books. Walter Heller was born on August 27, 1915 in Buffalo, New York. He received his B.A. degree from Oberlin College in 1935, his M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Wisconsin in 1938 and 1941, respectively. Professor Heller began his career at the University of Minnesota in 1946 as a professor of economics and awarded the highest faculty distinction, Regents' Professor, in 1967.
