This collection contains the papers of community activists and educators Eduardo Hernández-Chávez and Ysaura Bernal-Enríquez, formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The correspondence, notes, news clippings, flyers, photographs, and other materials papers document their community organizing efforts in New Mexico, as leaders of the Recuerda a César Chávez Committee and the New Mexicans Against Proposition 187, as well as their work on other issues of concern to the greater Chicano/Mexicano community.
