This collection contains one scrapbook and three folders consisting mainly ofnewspaper clippings pertaining to the formation of the Progressive Party in New Mexico and thecontroversy created by a purposed survey to determine the level of racism among high schoolstudents, both events occurring in the early 1930s. Also included are some speeches andcorrespondence of attorney Antonio A. Sedillo who was a member of the Progressive Party.
