Michael G. Pogue is an entomologist who contributed to studies of Lepidoptera at many museums and other institutions. Pogue began his extensive career in entomology as a volunteer at the Denver Museum in 1974, the same year he graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. His education continued with a M.S. from the University of Wyoming and culminated with a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.
