Harold Leroy Creal graduated from Cornell University in 1921. He operated a dairy farm in Cortland County, New York. From 1932 to 1938, he served as Supervisor of the Town of Homer, New York. He also served in the New York State Assembly from 1939 to 1950, as Director of the New York State Fair from 1950 to 1955, as Director of the Dairymen's League Cooperative Association, and as Director of the Cooperative Grange League Federation. Stewart Williams (Class of 1933) for the Baird Prize "Place Plate" artwork competition for Design 112, February 1932. A conference of farm bureau officers from 34 New York State counties resulted in the founding of the New York State Farm Bureau Federation on February 14, 1917. It's objectives were to encourage cooperation and coordinate and strengthen the work of New York's farm bureau associations. By 1919, every county in New York was represented in the Federation.
