Gerrit Smith Miller papers, 1878-1937.

Gerrit Smith Miller was a cattle breeder who developed the Holstein-Friesian cattle breeding industry in the United States. He was a member of the New York State Legislature in 1880, and held several other positions as a public official. Collection includes extensive correspondence with his friends and family members.
