The Lawrence and Isabel Barnett Collection contains photographs, clippings, scrapbooks, audio (primarily record albums and audio reels) and video (primarily film and VHS) recordings, and correspondence of Lawrence Barnett’s career as an entertainment industry executive with MCA and GAC, and Isabel Bigley Barnett’s career as a Broadway singer and actress between 1944 and 2007. The collection also contains photographs, clippings, and scrapbooks of the Barnett’s post-career lives and philanthropic work, primarily with The Ohio State University, the ALS Foundation, and McCallum Theatre. The collection also includes textiles and awards, including Isabel’s Tony Award for Guys and Dolls.
