Rollin M. Winningham was a career officer in the United States Air Force. He served as Deputy Commander of the 397th Bomb Group (M) and later as Commander of the 323rd Bomb Group (M) during World War II. After the war he stayed in the Air Force and served in various capacities rising to the position of Director of Administrative Services, Second Air Force Strategic Air Command. This small collection includes his orders, lists of positions, posts and honors.

Rollin M. Winningham (1914-1998) was born March 9, 1914 in Thomas, Oklahoma. He graduated from Edinburg high school in 1931 and Edinburg Jr. College, in 1934. Winningham joined the Army and served a year in a Field Artillery unit before attending flight school.
