The collection consists of a genealogical scrapbook and miscellaneous papers, including charts, clippings, photographs, biographical sketches, certificates, and copies of letters, 1604-1904. Also included are 1878 and 1879 brochures from Sedgwick's lecture series. The papers pertain primarily to Sedgwick's genealogical endeavors and his career as a lecturer.
