Daniel Lathrop Coit (1754-1833) was a resident of Norwich, Connecticut, and original shareholder in the Connecticut Land Company that developed the Western Reserve and Cleveland, Ohio. The collection consists of land agreements and associated papers concerning sales by Coit to residents of Medina and Portage Counties, Ohio.
