Frank R. Borchert, Jr., was the University Vice-President for Budgets and Planning at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Borchert was chairman of the board of trustees for Cathedral Latin High School, a member of the board of trustees of the Greater Cleveland Neighborhood Centers Association, and president of Alta Social Settlement in Cleveland's Little Italy area. The collection consists of board of trustee minutes, correspondence, memoranda, financial papers, reports, and publications of Alta Social Settlement, Cathedral Latin, and the Greater Cleveland Neighborhood Centers Association. The collection provides an understanding of the operations, and especially the financial difficulties, of Alta Social Settlement, the Greater Cleveland Neighborhood Centers Association, and Cathedral Latin High School.

Frank R. Borchert, Jr. (b. 1936) was University Vice President for Budgets and Planning at Case Western Reserve University in 1989.
