Junia L. Bartlett, was born on March 1, 1850, the daughter of Levi S. and Aroline E. (Sanborn) Bartlett of Kingston, New Hampshire. Her great-grandfather, Josiah Bartlett (1729-1795), was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, a physician, Chief Justice for the colony and the state's first governor.
