Trinity Lutheran began as a Sunday School on November 2, 1952 in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Freeland under the direction of Rev. A. L. S. Mathre from St. Peter’s Lutheran of Clinton, Washington. The community response as good and Sunday worship services were begun.
