In 1966 computer science became a division within the Department of Electrical Engineering. In 1975 it became a separate department in the College of Engineering. Currently it awards both undergraduate and graduate degrees. David Evans (1966-1973) and Anthony Hearn (1973-1975) served as program directors when computer science was part of Electrical Engineering. This collection primarily contains correspondence, proposals, and reports associated with sponsored research.
