The Department of Plastic Surgery was organized in 1967 by Clifford C. Snyder, who was also appointed at the same time to reorganize the surgical service at the Salt Lake City Veterans Administration Hospital. This collection contains meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports pertaining to the operation of the Department of Plastic Surgery and the surgical service at the Salt Lake City Veterans Administration Hospital. Included are reports on plastic surgery techniques and records of professional conferences of plastic surgeons.
