Daniel Dwight was born in Dudley, M.A. He attended Nicholl’s Academy and taught school in Dudley. He came to Spokane Falls in 1887, where he entered the real estate business. His major holding, the Falls City Block, was lost in the fire of 4 August 1889, but he rebuilt immediately.
