University of Deseret Museum register and miscellaneous articles inventory 1879-1895

This collection consists of a volume containing two separate handwritten inventories. One is of materials belonging to the Division of Mineralogy of the University of Deseret Museum. The second is entitled: Inventory of Miscellaneous Articles belonging to the University of Deseret, covering the years 1887 to 1891 . Also icluded is a listing of specimens added in 1884-1885 and a listing of articles received from the Utah Worlds Fair Commission in 1895. The University of Deseret became the University of Utah in 1892.
