The consultation with the ALC Board of Missions, Trinity Lutheran in Kellogg offered to mother a new Congregation in Pinehurst. Members of Trinity encouraged those living in the Pinehurst area to become a nucleus of the new congregation. They contributed volunteer labor for the construction of a chapel and parsonage.
