Millard Fillmore Malin (1891-1974) was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1891. He was a prominent sculptor whose style was primarily realistic. Malin was one of Utah's most prominent sculptors. At the age of seventeen he had fulfilled an LDS mission to New Zealand, not knowing that he would return there as an artist.
