Stanley (Roland) Davison was born May 6, 1911, in East Helena, Montana, to Frank and Margaret Davison. After going to high school in Helena, Davison attended Montana State University in Missoula, Montana, receiving his bachelor's degree in 1932 and his master's degree in 1935.
