John Geddes Randall was born in Marshall, Michigan, on January 19, 1873. He was the fourth child in a family of five born to William T. and Sarah Geddes Randall. In 1876, the Randalls moved to Ypsilanti, Michigan, and by 1880, they had moved to Beloit, Wisconsin, where Randall attended public school. He graduated from Beloit Academy and went onto earn an M.A. from Beloit College. He studied medicine at Hahneman Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, and was an intern at Hahneman Hosp...
