Frank Furniss Warren, son of Robert Hopkins and Alice May (Furniss) Warren, was born November 23, 1899 at Gilead, Michigan. His father was a clergyman of the Free Methodist Church. He received a B.A. from Seattle Pacific College in 1922, pursued religious training at the New York Biblical Seminary in 1922-23, and received an M. A. degree from Drew University in 1929.
